whats best practice to add classified headers to jira automated messages

whats the best way to add classification headers on automated JIRA messages for mulitple projects in Jira 8.12 without scriptrunner.

I'm new to Jira, i see that i have to download the "templates.zip" file. which template should I modify? there's multiple folders and templates.

The template(s) to be modified will depend on your needs.

These docs should cover the different files you may find:

Thank you Igor, so far i've modified and uploaded the issuecreate and issueupdated templates. I've also created a new notification scheme for my project but when i create an issue i dont get a field to select the classification??? not to mention, I dont get notification that the issue was created and when i update the issue i still dont get notified??? Also, how does jira pass classification headers to outlook? outlook is setup for classified emails. but im not even getting any emails not to mention a classified header. clearly, i dont understand how jira works. I need some help here. not sure what to do.

I believe we use separate issue notifications
