Theoretically, the resolution button only shows up when Jira issue status changes into "done", but I don't know why it also shows up when the status of issue is "to do" or " in progress". Thank you very much that somebody knows the reason and how to fix it.
Hi, this means there's an error in your workflow.
A transition to a "Done" status category should always set a resolution, either automated via a post function or manually via the resolution field on a transition/workflow screen.
A transition from a "Done" status to a "To Do" or "In Progress" status should always clear the resolution, via a post function.
