would like to showcase story actual hours which will be a sum of subtasks of the stories hours
example
dev subtask = dev actual hours
QA subtask = actual QA hours
story actual hours = actual QA hours + dev actual hours

When viewing a parent issue look at the Time Tracking data in the Details panel on the right. You should see directly below that a check box to "Include child issues". If you check that box, then the worklogs you create against the subtasks of that issue will roll up to display in the parent story in Time Tracking.

You can achieve this in two ways:
1. Check the "Include Subtasks" Checkbox:
- On the parent screen, select the checkbox to include subtasks.
2. Use Jira Automation:
- I have attached automation screenshots below for your reference.
