Recommendations for GitHub add ons

Good Morning.   We have recently migrated from JIRA Data Center to JIRA Cloud, and are now starting to explore GitHub Integration.

We are evaluating add ons and would like any recommendations that anyone has, taking functionality and cost effectiveness into consideration.

I second this!

Pragmatic approach:

1. Start with the Atlassian app. Simply because it is free. If meets your requirements, then use it.
2. Otherwise use the Git Integration app.

If you want to display data from GitHub in Jira dashboards, you can take a look at our DevOps Gadgets for Jira (Insights from GitHub & BB) app. It provides dashboard gadgets for viewing:

• latest build status
• recent commits
• recent pipelines runs
• recent pull requests

It has the advantage of being able to display this data not only to developers, but also to QAs, PMs, etc. who do not have access to GitHub repositories; it does not expose the source code.
