Redirect loop on Jira Software Setup

Hi

I am currently installing Jira Software and facing an issue during the setup process.

I am at the "Set up application properties" where it is asking me for the Application Title, Mode and base URL, when i configure these options and hit next a message appears saying "Please wait while Jira is configured..." and then the page reloads and I'm back at the same screen asking for the same info with no way to progress.

Using latest version of Jira Software atlassian-jira-software-7.12.1-x64.bin

Can anyone recommend how to fix this loop that I'm stuck in?

Hey Danny, 

I'm sorry to hear you're encountering a loop when setting up Jira. Can I ask which database you're using - I've heard issues before with MySQL and the version of the connector used with it?

Can you also let us know if there's anything logged out to atlassian-jira.log in the Jira Home Directory? 

Have you also tried accessing from another browser?
