Hi

How to generate a status transition report. I am looking to generate How many days it took to move from new to in progress status.

you can check our free add-on Status History which shows all status changes directly on each issue. Here you can find more details.

If you need overall look on whole project you can also take a look at Status History PRO which has configurable viewer and detailed reports for analysis.
