I want to see the time it took to go from 'in progress' to 'in test'. Is that possible?

@Donna Powell One of the JIRA add-ons that is used mostly for this use case is "JIRA Suite Utilities": https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/5048/jsu-automation-suite-for-jira-workflows?hosting=cloud&tab=overview

This add-on provides a "Transitions" tab on JIRA issues, under "Activity" section. This tab shows transitions from one status to another and the time it took for an issue in each source status before it was moved to a target status. Please see the below documentation from the plugin for more details: https://confluence-apps.beecom.ch/display/JSU/Issue+Transitions+Tab

Hope it helps !

Try our new Time Between Statuses for generating reports of the transition time between statuses in your project workflow.

Using this app you can set the start/stop/pause timer preferences and set warning and critical time limits to highlight overdue issues.

So, this add-on helps you to monitor and avoid risks in your project workflow by having a clear vision of tasks’ transition time.

Hope it helps

Hi @Donna Powell

With the add-on Time in status for Jira Cloud by SaaSJet you can easily see the time that issue took to go from one status to another, e.g. from 'in progress' to 'in test'.

This add-on will automatically bring you such information as:

This plugin generates 7 types of reports at the moment: Time in status, Average time in status, Assignee time, Status Entrance Date, Time in Status per Date, Status Count and Transition Count.

You can analyze the report up close with exported XLS or CSV files. Also, you can view all reports as charts (Pie, Bar and Area Charts) and export them (as PNG, JPEG or PDF files).

If you want to have a detailed view of how your issues are following the workflow, you can try Issue History. This add-on will display you the history of all changes that had been made by your team in selected issues.
