Scenario: Client is generating requests which feed a mailer, we currently have JEMH however this still will require a human touch to convert and Send to our JIRA email to stage a case.

What we are looking to do is (regardless of text) to be able to auto forward the emails, whether Remedy related or any other tool ensure the fields are aligned then forward that to our JIRA and the JIRA case be stage auto-magically right from the email.

Attempting to have 0 human touch in staging JIRA records for action.

 

Is there a plugin? Asking So I can point my JIRA support team in the right direction before I even leverage my ask

Hey Louis, I'd say to look into a third-party integration service such as Uni.to, Workato, or Zapier to accomplish this sort of task. 

I'm not aware of any addons that will facilitate your requirements on the marketplace. Hoping others may be able to chime in if they know of any.

Meg, if we had something like that. We (JIRA Community) truly would be able to slurp in whatever madness is out there, thank you for your feedback. Helping each other is what keeps us turning into a remedy system. I'll look into your suggestions.

I think the beauty of Atlassian products is how open they are! While I do agree that it's not optimal this isn't built-in, you can surely do anything with a good developer and some time to devote to the APIs.

Unfortunately my coding skills are terrible at best, ha! I've had to lean heavily on integration services that make plug and play between applications a bit more user-friendly.
