Resolution field missing from "Field Required Validator" when trying to configure "done" transition.

I've configured one of our workflows to request resolution type (using the resolution screen) when an issue is transitioned into "Done".

This all works as expected, however I'm now trying to make the resolution field mandatory on the resolution screen during transition.

I'm taking the following steps within the workflow:

1. Open "Done" transition

2. Select "Validators" tab

3. Select "Add Validator"

4. Select "Field Required Validator"

At this step, I click on the drop down against "Fields required for this transition:" - but "Resolution" is not showing as one of these fields. 

Is anyone able to shed any light on what the issue could be? Thank you.

The resolution field is always mandatory whenever it is presented.  That is why you should NEVER put it on any screen except the one shown in the transition where you want the user to set it. Also, never set a default value because that will show it is set.

Thank you - I hadn't realised resolution field was always mandatory - I was trying to fix a problem that didn't exist!

The option is available at my end under Validators and Conditions :

You might want to check the Field configuration to see if the field isn't Hidden.
