My organization used to have a jira cloud account but it no longer exists. Is there any way to get it back?

Hello @Ola Mattsson and welcome to the Atlassian Community,

Everything depends on when your account was deleted and if you had a backup of your Jira Cloud (export of your data, or a third-party backup, like GitProtect.io).

In case, you had a backup, check if you can restore it.

If your Jira Cloud account has been deleted recently, recovery may depend on Atlassian's retention policies. If you are an admin, log in to admin.atlassian.com to see if the site is still accessible: https://admin.atlassian.com/ .

Also, you may try to submit a request to Atlassian Support as they may retain backups for a limited period: https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/

Regards,

Daria

Hey @Ola Mattsson

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

If the site was not renewed for a prolonged period, you (or the admins) should have received emails about the same.

There is a data retention period after which the data is permanently deleted and can't be recovered.

You can find the details here:  How does cancellation impact my data?

Thanks!
