Restrict deletion of attachments in Jira Cloud

Hi All - 

Can we restrict deletion of attachments from jira issue only after it was opened even once?

Can someone help me in this? Any suggestion is welcomed.

Hello!

That might be possible by the use of workflow/status properties. Check them out here. I believe these two could lead to success (all statuses except "Open" would need these 2 i think):

• jira.permission.attachdeleteall.denied
• jira.permission.attachdeleteown.denied

You might be able to go the other way around, and remove the people from the attachment permissions in the permission screen and then add a property to allow the deletion of attachments (only for "Open"). If that works i dont know, but it might be worth a shot since only one status would then need a property.
