Hi
How can I retrieve the epic and all assignees to the stories inside the epic. I am trying to have this as the JQL query output
Key (epic id) -> Summary (epic name) -> All assignees (all assignees names delimited by comma)
Thanks
Hi @Mohit Jain
to the best of my knowledge, this isn't available in "plain" Jira; you'll need some extra tooling for this.
... and just for an alternative direction: There's a number of views available that can show you your issues in their hierarchy, i.e., with stories below "their" epics. If you have Jira Premium, Advanced Roadmaps can do that; there's also several options from the Atlassian Marketplace. This is doesn't give you a comma-separated list of assignees, but you should be able to get reasonably close. E.g., I quickly modelled the below view in the app that my team and I are working, JXL for Jira.
(For context, JXL is a full-fledged spreadsheet/table view for your issues that allows viewing, inline-editing, sorting, and filtering by all your issue fields, much like you’d do in e.g. Excel or Google Sheets. It also comes with number of advanced features, such as support for configurable issue hierarchies.)
As said above, there'll be other apps that can help with this, too. You may already know that you can trial any app for free for 1 month, and depending on the size of your size, it may be free forever. So if an app is an option for your, perhaps try a few and see which works best for you.
Best,
Hannes
