Hello..
I have set up a Jira software project, created epics and in the epics then created stories. I equipped each epic and each story with a start and end date.
When I look at the roadmap the epics are displayed but not the stories. Why is this the case?
1. all stories are created directly in the epic
2. all stories do consist of start and end dates in the timeframe of the epic
What can I do?
Here is a picture to make my point...
Are you using a Jira Cloud, standard license? If so, I believe the child issues of epics only show up as timelines on the roadmap for a scrum board. What are you using?
Kind regards,
Bill

Hello @Bill Sheboy ,
yes, I do use a Jira Cloud license. I would need to set up a scrum board then instead of a Kanban Board, right?

Yes, I believe that is correct at this time.

To keep it Kanban board, go to your Timeline and select the Configure Timeline from the ... menu in the upper right. On that page select Child-level issue scheduling.

I am using Jira Cloud and in a company-managed project. I am using Scrum and I've attempted in Kanban and no success. I am getting this error. I have attempted to find this 'board filter' but not sure what I am doing wrong.
