In my Roadmap the horizontal bars isen't shown for User Stories, only for an Epic.
I used the same settings as for the Epic -> so I defined a 'start date' and 'due date'. The bars are still not displayed. What could be the problem?

Hello @Susak Maria
Welcome to the Atlassian community!
Is this roadmap for a Scrum board or a Kanban board?
When viewing the roadmap click on the ellipses button in the upper right next to the Export button. Select Configure Roadmap. Is the "Child level issue scheduling" option turned on? This has to be ON regardless of the type of board you are using.
If you are working with a Scrum board then the time bar for the issues will show the same duration as the Active sprint to which the issue is assigned. For a Scrum board you cannot make it show a duration based on an assigned Start and End Date on the individual issue,
If you are working with a Kanban board, you will need to add values to the Start Date and End Date for each issue to get a bar displayed on the roadmap.
Hi and thank you @Trudy Claspill
I have overlooked the configuration "child level issue scheduling". After your input I enabled the configuration and now it works.
Best thanks :)

Epics pull that info from Start and Due Date, but you can't manually set them for tasks/stories under the epics.
If the tickets under that epic are in a Sprint, then the dates of that Sprint (start and end of the sprint) are used for the children of the epic -- the bars you're looking for.
You basically need to use Advanced Roadmaps/Plans to make those bars appear in the way you're describing.
