Roadmap view is not following defined hierarchy

I have defined a new hierarchy:

  1. Initiative
  2. Epic
  3. Story
  4. Sub-Task

And when loading Roadmap view, I'm seeing Epics listed first with Initiative as their sub-tasks.

Expected: Initiative > Epic > Story > Sub-Task

Actual: Epic > Initiative > Story > Sub-Task

Is it a bug?

Additionally, BACKLOG view DOES NOT give the option INITIATIVE panel, just Epic panel.

Is there anything I'm missing? I'm not seeing the point in adding a level above EPIC if every functionality works up to EPIC level only,

Actually, we might not need to have INITIATIVE panel on Backlog view as long as we can have ROADMAP showing all issues in the defined hierarchy.

SOLVED. Had to use ADVANCED ROADMAP.
