Hello,
I have upgraded GreenHooper to 6.3.0.2 version on Dev environment. But i need to rollback one for making some tests.
Only rollback to preview version 6.2.1 didn't make results. Its every time tell:
"
GreenHopper is currently unavailable. This might be because an upgrade task has failed to run or has not not yet completed.
Please contact your system administrator if you continue to see this message.
"
Is there any way to roll it back correctly?
Thanks in advance,
-Denys.
Hi Denys,
Although it is generally not recommended to downgrade your GreenHopper/JIRA Agile, if you are persistent in wanting to downgrade it, there is actually one way : That is to restore the backup of your instance taken before the upgrade.
This is because as you might have noticed, there are changes in the database when GreenHopper/JIRA Agile is upgraded, hence if you were to manually downgrade it via uninstalling and installing a previous version of the plugin, it would not be able to work properly. Hence, the only way to get it back into working state would be to restore a backup of before the upgrade was performed.
