Hello! We are exploring the 30-day free trial for Jira Premium. My question is - if we decide not to move forward after the trial, what does the rollback to Jira Standard look like, if there is any rollback at all?
Are these just features that are behind a feature flag that are disabled if we do not move forward? I would like to ensure our current environment is not disrupted if we decide not to move forward with Jira Premium. Thanks!
Ηι @[deleted] and welcome to the community,
As @Christof Cuypers well stated, the premium features will be disabled. E.g. the calendar will not be visible any more on your instance. Assets as well. So if you base your work on Assets, then yes, your work will be disrupted. If you base your work on feature that can be found on a standard plan, then you will not have any problem.
Take a look at this https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/pricing and see if your feature will be disabled when you move back to the standard plan. If not, you are good!
Thanks @Alex Koxaras -Relational- ! This is helpful. Do you mind helping me understand exactly what you mean by "assets"?

Assets (previously known as Insights) is a CMDB app which now can be found as a built in feature on Jira Service Management Premium. So you have this "functionality" when you are on a premium plan. But if you go back to a standard plan, then you lose access to this. More about it here https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/service-management/features/asset-and-configuration-management
But in your case, since you are interested in Jira Software only, this feature/app is not available there. So I wouldn't worry about it. :)

Hi Chris,
Based on my experience > the features, linked to the premium subscription, will be disabled and not any longer available / visible.
