Hi,

We are trying to give auto approve an issue when the SLA is breached by adding automation in JIRA. But the issue is not transitioned to next status even when the SLA is breached. Could anyone help.

Hi @Farshan Yussuff -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Would you please post images of your automation rule and the audit log showing an execution which does not work as you expect?  That may provide more context for the community to offer suggestions.  Thanks!

Kind regards,
Bill

Hi @Farshan Yussuff

If you want set an SLA timer with automated actions for overdue issues in Jira Software, you need to use an app from Atlassian Marketplace.

For example, SLA time and report allows you to set SLAs for issues from any Jira project (Software, Core, Service Management, etc.).

As escalations for tasks with overdue time limits, you can select status, priority or assignee changing.

This add-on is developed by my team, so if you have any questions, let me know

Best regards
