Hello SMEs & Experts,
How can we add multiple Scenarios in Adv Roadmap (I can see only 3 at present) and would like to understand how the roadmap changes based on each Scenario (On What Basis it changes and where is the logic written for these scenarios). At present it is textual scenarios that i am configuring !!!!
Hey @Arun KJ
Good day!
There's no specific limit on the number of scenarios you can create in Advanced Roadmaps for Jira. You can create multiple scenarios to experiment with different approaches to your plan without affecting your team's work.
Here are a few helpful documents and use cases related to Advanced Roadmap Scenarios:
What are scenarios in Advanced Roadmaps?
Create a scenario in Advanced Roadmaps
How Ted uses Advanced Roadmaps - scenarios and capacity
Enable and disable scenarios in your Advanced Roadmaps plan
Kindly note, the changes you make in a scenario won't affect your live plan and the alterations you apply in each scenario are independent of each other.
These could be changes to issue estimates, issue assignments, issue scheduling, etc. The logic behind these changes isn't written in a code-like format, but instead, it's the modifications you make while working in a scenario.
For example, you could create a scenario where you've assigned more resources to a project to see how it affects your completion date or a scenario where you've changed some issue estimates to see how it affects your schedule. The roadmap updates are based on the changes you make in each scenario.
Feel free to reach out if you have any more questions. Otherwise, please make sure to mark this response as accepted :)
Thanks.
