Hello All
Adding new version of specific project has been changed in a way that there is no more option 'Schedule' ( drop-down list ) to place it at desired location. In case that list of projects is very long then available method 'You can drag the new version to a different possition by hovering over the drag icon ...' is not useful.
Is it possible with some setting to have it back 'Schedule' drop-down list ?
Our previous Jira was 4.3.4 ( in manual on page 352 you can see instruction have to do it ), while in the latest 6.2.3 there is no such option ( official manual page 537 ).
Thank you for your feedback.
Regards,
Milan
Hi Milan,
The Managing Versions screen has been changed since JIRA 4.4, as you can see in the document below:
Unfortunately, it is not possible to send a version to the top or bottom anymore in a single click since JIRA 4.4 - only by dragging it and dropping it on the position you want.
If you believe this change in the UI might be a problem for ordering and managing your versions, you may vote on the improvement below, which I believe would help in your scenario, to increase its visibility with development:
You can also report a new JAC at https://jira.atlassian.com/asking for this feature back, but unless many people also vote requesting on such feature back, the likelyhood of having it implemented is very low.
I hope the inforamtion above helps.
Sincerely,
Danilo
