ScriptRunner comments in a post function

We have ScriptRunner for Cloud, In a workflow I am creating I am forcing a comment to be entered in a transition screen from status A to status B.  I would like to get the comment entered in the transition screen and add as part of a notification to the appropriate people.  Is there an example that someone can point me to?  I have been fumbling around for too long.

Are you talking about notifications? This sounds like something you would add into the notification template for the event being fired.
