I need to hide a field for USER role, but not for the others.
I have the problem when a user belongs to several roles.
The "except" option does not recognize any role, is this normal?
I have also tried to make many scripts that I have seen on the forums but I can't get it to filter by role.
Any suggestions?

Hi Jordi,
it should be working exactly as you said.
What is the project mapping you set for this behaviour? Is it even existing? If not, that would explain the missing roles.
You can even set it to be mapped to all projects, which worked out just fine for me in a quick test now.
Regards,
Stefan
Thanks for the reply Stefan.
I have a project mapped and the issuetype TASK (which exists in that project).

Hi Jordi,
in this case, I cannot see any difference compared to our system, which is running a much older version (7.8). So this might be a regression introduced in some version between yours and ours, which has not yet been reported.
I even checked the change logs for any such mention, but nothing.
So my suggestion would be to open a ticket with the vendor and report it there.
Maybe you can also update here for others to see, once there is any outcome :-)
Thanks!
