Hi there,
I'm trying to create a field validator during a workflow transition, and when i go to validators, i have the option "Field(s) required validator [ScriptRunner] " but when i try to add a field, is not appearing, not only that field, none of the fields i have are not appearing... is this a bug or what?
I'm running the latest version of Scriptrunner, cuz i just updated it.
I need help, thanks
Hi @Viktoria Boiko , have you tried the solution from my answer above? There needs to be a screen for the transition, and only the fields that show up in that screen will show up in the validator.
Hello @Tye Joe Wai,
Yes, there are no options even with the added to the transition screen. I see that there is no such bug in the new version of Scriptrunner and we will update to the new version in 1-2 month with our Jira. But if there is a solution for this version: 6.38.0 that would be good.
I am asking because I can't see this bug: https://productsupport.adaptavist.com/servicedesk/customer/portal/2/SRJSUP-22394
If there is no solution except updating Scriptrunner then it is not a problem, but I would like to know if it exists.
Thanks in advance.

Hey there @Albert Manuel , just wanted to confirm, do you have any screens associated with the transition where you are trying to add the validator?
As per this documentation , it will only show fields that are associated with the screen shown during the transition, so this may be the reason why nothing is showing up when you try it.

Hi @Albert Manuel did you try to start writing in the field? It quite often uses autocomplete function, so you need to write something.

Hi @Rajesh Ramankutty there was the answer with the link to the documentation

You need to have the field on the transition screen to be able to configure it as required.
