We have implemented MS Active Directory as JIRA directory.
When creating an issue and searching an Assignee all AD users appear in the search bar.
This may cause problems and confusion when someone is mistakenly selected, which is not a JIRA user, e. g. a lot of users with the same name.
Is it possible to set a filter, that only JIRA users appear in the search bar?
Thanks and Regards
Christian
If I understood you correctly I have to add a JIRA user group to the Active Directory that I can restrict the ldap search to this group. But that would be cumbersome, because I would have to maintain the group in AD and in JIRA.
Is there no way when assigning an issue to a user, only a look up into the internal standard group 'jira-software-users' is performed?
