Hello,

I was wondering if it is possible to see this from different epic in the same page: (this view is from an Epic page)2019-07-29 16_05_39-Clipboard.png

The idea is to have a kind of dashboard showing multiple Epic in the same page. I don't know if Jira or Confluence can do this.

Thanks in advance for you reply.

Hello Thomas,

I understand that you would like to display in a single view all your Epics together with their progress bar based on how much issues are done. Is it correct?

You can achieve this same behavior using the Epic panel of a Kanban board. These would be the steps:

- Create a new filter displaying all the Epics you want to display in the view

- Create a new Kanban board based on the filter you created, by navigating to any project > Click in the board menu > + create new board:

- In the new board created, Navigate to Board Settings > Columns > Turn-on the Epic panel:

The progress of the Epics returned by the board filter will be displayed in the Epic panel of the Kanban board:

Let me know if this is the option you are looking for.

Hi Thomas,

The issues in epic panel is specific to that particular view and there is not a mirrored gadget that would do the same but A couple approaches you could take here to replicate the output in alternate charts would be to use a Jira dashboard with the "Agile Wallboard Gadget" in conjunction with a board containing the issues, with the board configured so that is set to have "epic" as the swimlane

Another approach would be to use multiple Filter result gadgets for the various Epics you are looking to display.  Doing this you would want one saved filter per epic to use on your dashboard, with a saved filter of "Epic Link" = EXE-123

You can also Add a Jira gadget to a page in confluence to get the same gadgets populated over in your documentation pages if you do not want to use the jira dashboard directly for the reporting.

You could also look into add-ons that extend the reporting functionality such as EazyBI, or Epic Sum Up or Sum Up For Jira which are just a few of the reporting add-on apps avaliable that could extend this functionality.

Regards,
Earl
