Hello fellow Jira and Tempo users,
We are currently facing a challenge with the timesheets approval process in Tempo and would greatly appreciate your insights and experiences in handling similar situations.
In our organization, our teams often collaborate across multiple projects, each with its own designated lead. The current Tempo setup requires that each team member can receive approval from just one lead. However, this becomes complex from a team lead to approve a timesheet, when an individual is involved in multiple projects managed by other leads also.
Ideally, we would like to explore a scenario where, upon timesheet submission, the timesheet is routed to the corresponding leads of each project the user has been involved in. For instance, if a user has worked on 3 projects, their timesheet should be sent to the respective 3 project leads for approval. And each lead to approve the corresponding part.
If any of you have encountered and successfully resolved a similar issue in your organization or have insights on customizing the timesheets approval process in Tempo to address such situations, we would be extremely grateful for your guidance.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and we look forward to hearing your thoughts and solutions.
