Select colums for export

Antonio Di Leone January 21, 2019

Dear All,

I created a filter for generating an issue report. The filter is working fine.

When I click the "Colums" button, it shows up three options:

- My Defaults;

- Filter;

- System;

I´m running my filter and getting in the report just the colums I need.

When exporting, I´m selecting the option "CSV  (Current Fields)" but I´m not getting the colums that are being displayed (the same ones in the "filter" option). I noticed that in fact the columns exported are the ones selected in the "My Default" option.

Is it a Bug? How can I make the "export current fields" to work correctly exporting the columns displayed in the report and not the ones selected in "My Default"?

Many Thanks,

Antonio Di Leone

@Antonio Di Leone Can you please check that you have the "Filter" column configuration auto-populated when selecting your JIRA filter and also make sure that all the columns that you want in the "Filter" column configuration, have been selected from "Show/Hide Columns"?

Hi Taranjeet,

Yes. I checked and when I run the reports the columns displayed are the ones I selected  previously (with show/hide) when creating and saving the filter. When I run the filter the columns are also showed correctly when I select the "Filter" columns option. I also noticed that they change accordingly when I change from "filter" to "my default" or "to system". It seems that for some reason my Jira is only exporting the columns configured in "my default" and not effectively exporting the columns showed in the report.

Thanks,

Antonio
