Sending email for new user which is an email alias is not working

I am creating a new user in JIRA. This user has an email address which is an alias hosted on gmail (gapps).

I tested sending email from other domains to this alias, and it is receiving the emails. However the signup emails is not being received.  Is there anything that I have to configure in JIRA ?

Hi @Rita Sarathy

Try to switch off resend and check if sing up emails will come to alias mail.

If yes - there are some problems on alias mail settings.

Thanks Vyacheslav.   Sign up emails are not being received as an alias email. 

I have to look at the alias mail settings. However, I received email from iCloud.com to this alias email address,
