Hallo everybody,
we are using Jira Software and Jira Service Desk. As you can see in the screenshot, this is a Classic Software Project, but the roles are 'Service Desk Team' and 'Service Desk Customer'... I'm irritated regarding this. Why that mix?
All roles in Jira are global for all projects, so they will show up on every single project in Jira, no matter if it's a Service Desk or a regular Software/Business project.
For example, I added a role that watches all issues in a project and that role is available across the entire Jira org.
I recommend using Developer roles for the Software projects for people who don't need Admin access.
