Set cloner always as reporter?

Hi,

when cloning an issue, usually the reporter is retained in the clone, except the cloning person lacks the 'Modify Reporter' permission (as documented in http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Cloning+an+Issue).

Is it possible to configure that the cloning person is always set as reporter in the clone, regardless of permissions?

Since we are still on 4.2.1, I'll wait until an update of our installation and reconsider the issue afterwards. Thanks for the hint anyway.

As of today, the feature request is still open. So, I guess we must use the suggested plugin.
