Set existing issue as child to another existing issue

Gentjana Lalaj March 18, 2019

There were a number of issues that are all part of a bigger issue. However, I created several of them as independent issues, instead of adding them as children of the main issue.

Is there a way to add them as child issues of the main issue?

Obviously, I can close them and re-create them as child issues, but I would rather not do that.

Gentjana,

just use the convert to subtask option and select the parent issue as the parent of all

The only options available are 'Add flag', 'Add to Epic', 'Move' and 'Clone'.

Can you tell me which issue types do you have in your project?

Gentjana Lalaj March 18, 2019

This is the list of types : Bug, Candidate, Critic, Epic, Feature, Investgation, Story, Task.

They fall under the Standard Issue Type category

You need to add a subtask issue type to the issue type scheme of that project to be able to create subtasks!

I want it to be a child.... not a subtask.
