Setting an end date range on an epic

Eric Dec September 29, 2021

Is there a way to set an end date range on epics so that the the timeline bar on a roadmap will show a range for the the completion of the epic. This is sometimes referred to as a candlestick. Example is attached, where the end date range shows up visually separate from the rest of the timeline.Screen Shot 2021-09-29 at 4.32.02 PM.png

Hi @Eric Dec

BigPicture/BigGantt's functionality is tracking progress on the epic, project, or phases level.

You also can calculate and display the task progress using different fields and formulas. The progress can be displayed as a column and on the taskbar.

Let me know if you have ore questions.

Hi @Eric Dec ,
You can try Planyway for your needs, it was developed by my team and I think it could help you. Here's how an epic can look in Planyway if you add it to the timeline:

If any questions, please let me know!
Wishing you a great day ^_^

There is no support for this in the native Jira Roadmaps feature.

You might be able to find it in third party roadmap apps that integrate with Jira.
