Setting conditions for transitions for specific product

Is it posible for the same project to have different conditions for transitions in workflow? This could enable to set the workflow configuration per product.

I do not wish to change settings for the project, but only for the product (if possible).

Hi Rene,

Yes it possible. You need to build a Custom Workflow and then add conditions.

I suppose you are using Jira Software.

Ex. Workflow: Open-In progress-Review Product A - Review Product B- Done

Create a Custom Field name Product( single selection):A,B

Youd need to create 2 separate trasition from In progress to :

a)Review Product A

b)Review Product B

Then use condition on the trasitions: 

Value Field   Instead of Affected Version you will put PRoduct(the field created above) and then select = and the needed value.

After this you will make the same way for B

what's your overall use case you're trying to accomplish and are you using Jira Server/Data center or Cloud?

Do you mean to have different conditions in a single transition?

This is possible and Jira supports ALL/ANY conditions and nested conditions by default.

Or do you want to make certain transitions only available for a specific "product"? How are the products identified? By custom field values, is this an issue type?
