Setting day offset for projected sprints in plans

I am using plans in Jira and want to leverage the capacity planning feature but the projected sprints always start on a Monday. How do I set this to be a different day of the week? Our teams start on Wednesday so I would want the capacity planning to align with that.

Advanced Roadmaps doesn't offer a direct setting to customize the weekday for projected sprint start dates—they automatically start right after your team's last defined sprint ends.

To align your projected sprints (and thus capacity planning) with your team's Wednesday start:

• Manually create future sprints on your Jira Scrum board starting explicitly on Wednesday.
• Ensure your Advanced Roadmaps plan includes these defined future sprints.

Once set, the projected sprints will follow the established Wednesday cadence.

Thanks for your reply. I will try the work around you proposed. It is a little trickier in my situation since the plan is pulling in issues from multiple projects and since most of the projects already have sprints, I had hoped the plan would have used these - but it is not.

I suspect, it might be related to what project the different issue types are assigned - if the initiative is in a project that doesn't have sprints then we won't have the alignment needed.

I will try to feed back once I have had a chance to try this out.
