We are creating a new jira instance and we would like to add few gadgets to the System Dashboard and then we would like to add this new Dashboard for every user. Is there a way with which every new user may get the new Dashboard as the default Dashboard?
(Every Member of Support is not tech savy and we want them to have more information available when they open Jira Instance and it is difficult to add a new Dashboard for every user.)
Hello,
or
1) Do "gg" (double click on G on your keyboard)
(It's the most fastest finder in Jira IMO)
2) Fill there "System Dashboard"
3) And add gadgets there.
That's all! :)
Good luck in fields of JIRA!
Chozo,
The easiest way is to change the System Dashboard.
Just go to: Administration -> System -> System Dashboard
As long as the user has not set up his own dashboard, the system dashboard is displayed by default.

Thanks for the reply @Thomas S_ ,
But the dashboard can't be project specific in this case like I won't be able to Use Pie chart gadget for a specific Project and share with all as other Project members don't need information of other project.
This is the reason I need to create a custom Dashboard and share it with entire Group.
