Hello guys.
We were trying to set up a new email channel, using a o365 user account, with the set up below:
Email service provider: Other
Email address: o365user@domain.com
Username: o365user@domain.com
Password: o365user PW
Email protocol: POP
Mail server: outlook.office365.com
Port number: 995
And we are receiving the error below:
unfortunately jira couldn't connect to the mail server. Here is what the mail server said:
"Connection timed out: connect"
We checked the connection and also pin into outlook.office365.com, and everything seem to be working fine.
We also checked the user name and pw portal.office.com and is working fine.
Can you please advise what would be the next step to check?
