Share profile picture between Confluence and Jira?

Does anyone know if it is possible to have a user's profile picture that he uploaded in Confluence also be the same user's profile picture in Jira without him having to upload twice?

We have activated SSO for Confluence and Jira and are using Crowd.

This method might work:

1. Edit Jira server hosts file to resolve www.gravatar.com to your own web server IP
2. Configure web server to redirect /avatar to http://www.yourwiki.com/rest/cas/1.0/avatar/server

Nevermind, I just installed Jira and realised the links are on the client side... back to the drawing board.

Looks like there aren't any special tricks for this fix. See Septa's comments above on feature requests.
