Shared issues do not add comments to the activity of the issue

When sharing an issue via email it seems that in Jira 5 the comments are not added to the issue.

In Jira v4 any comments added when using 'Email this issue' were added to the issues comments.

Is there a global setting we have missed? Or has this functionality changed?

Since this feature started to be embedded to JIRA, this action doesn't add any comments on the issue.

There is a Feature Request for this here:

I recommend you to vote on it and put yourself as a *watcher* to be notified about future updates.
