Shared projects between different accounts

ariel@Seraphim-opt.com October 2, 2018

Hi,

1. We have two teams, two separate companies, working on the same project.
How can we share specific projects (jira issues/confluence pages/git)?

2. If I can aggregate all the users into one account, aaa.atlassian.net, (and create groups);
is it possible to be able to login using bbb.atlassian.net?

Thanks,
Ariel.

Hi ariel@Seraphim-opt.com,

  • Atlassian cloud login is based on the user's Atlassian account.
  • You should be able to access seamlessly once the user has access (Administrator should add this user to specified group) to the portal aaa.atlassian.net or bbb.atlassian.net.
  • You should be able to access the projects and spaces based on the group/role based permissions defined by the administrator.

Let me know if you still any questions.

Thanks for you answer Ravi,

Just to make sure: "to the portal aaa.atlassian.net or bbb.atlassian.net"
Meaning the user will be counted twice towards billing? (in aaa and bbb)

Unfortunately, Yes, it is the case.

But, you may want to work with the Atlassian license team, if they can help you address this issue mentioning the fact that the underlying portals belong to a single entity.
