Shared tasks between jira software and jira core users

Hello everyone,
I have team with 5 developers and 8 it engineer( network and infrastructure ) who sometimes have related tasks (with different tasks) . I would like to purchase 2 licences of jira ( jira software for 10 users an jira core for 10 users). Knowing that jira software licence include core features, Is it possible to create related tasks or projcts for the usere related to 2 licences? Does it mean that i can manage 10 users jira software and 20 users core software features.

Yes, it's possible to create related tasks with issue linking. Issue linking is available in both Jira Core and Jira Software.

It may be worth trialling two 10 user licenses, and then creating and assigning issues appropriately. See if that works, and *maybe* you can get away with two 10 user licenses.

I think you'll have to purchase the Jira Core 25 user license, with the Jira Software 10 user license to manage your situation, but run the trial and see how you go. Think of Jira Software as a super offering. It includes Jira Core and extra Jira Software features, as you've acknowledged. You won't get 10 software and 20 core, you'll either get 10 software + 10 core, or 10 software + 25 core.
