Hi,
Can I configure the normal issue view, to show my custom field, even if it does not contain a value?
Just like the "Label" field, where I can start editing the field, from the issue view?
Best Regards,
Mads
It's not possible so far. There's a request for that you can vote on: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-6697
If you're still using JIRA 3 there's a patch you can apply but as far as I know it doesn't work in recent JIRA versions: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRACOM/Displaying+Custom+Fields+with+no+value
Thanks you for the fast answer - I'm voting as we speak :)

You can add default value "empty" or "no vaule" or with description what to insert in field :-)
