Hi to you all,

I'm trying to configure my BigGantt plugin in order to show the *"relates to"* links between two projects of mine, in the WBS when changes are made.

For instance, consider:

  • Project 1 --> PRJ1
  • Project 2 --> PRJ2

A link between two tasks (or subtasks) of the projects is given

  • PRJ1_Task_4 ----- relates to ----- PRJ2_Task_1

I would like to create the WBS of PRJ2 and show the links made from tasks of PRJ2 with tasks of PRJ1 if and only if the tasks of PRJ1 has changed "due date" w.t.r. task of PRJ2.

In this way an alert is provided in case of updates of the related tasks (of PRJ1).

Is that achievable with BigGantt plugin?

Thank you for your support

You can create a Gantt that includes both projects.  The create the issue link on the Gantt and this will show up in the program view (Gantt).  The WBS on each issue will still only show the actual WBS flow derived from the project as this feature is not that robust yet.  At the issue level you would still be able to see the issue link created by the issue link on the Gantt. Hope this helps.
