Hello everyone,
I'm evaluating Jira and recently moved from Jira Software to Jira Core (both in cloud version).
In Jira Software, I had the option to configure boards, more specifically to show sub-tasks in the board though the (...) button on the top right corner. Is this option disabled in Jira Core? For some reason I can't display sub-tasks in the boards.
Thanks for replying
Mauro
Hi @Mauro Guercia, welcome to the Community!
I don't think this feature is currently possible in Jira Core. There's an open ticket for it that you can vote on here. But thank you to @Jack Brickey for the excellent advice above, perhaps it's a workaround? I couldn't complete the steps myself, but I may have misinterpreted/misunderstood the steps.
Core is primarily for 'business projects' and the default board that comes with business projects is non-editable. I do not use standalone core so cannot confirm this but you should be able to create a new fully featured Kanban board. You will need to choose your profile as the Location for this board, i.e. you cannot have it associated directly in the Project. Once created, however, you can then use Add item on the side bar to create a link where users can access the board. Be sure to share the filter and board.

Hey Jack. Thanks for replying so quickly.
Could you guide me through creating a board in my profile? I'm starting to think this is a feature only for Jira Software.
Thanks for helping!
Cheers

I will try but again I don't use Core so my help may or may not prove fruitful. Try the following:
if you are having issues share some screenshots. i need to see what options you have for Boards.
