On the ITS-PRO tempo timesheet, the dates are displaying as DD.MM instead of MM/DD. For example, today is May 8. The date should show as 05/08. Instead, it shows as 08.05, which makes me think it is August 5.
This is very confusing, as this is not the USA format for dates.
Please, please PLEASE, HOW CAN WE FIX THE DATE FORMAT???????????????
Still nothing to this day ? In French, the dates are wrong all over Tempo's interface, however it's configured in Jira's admin.
Six years later and still NO SOLUTION. I included a picture this time so you know exactly what is the problem. The submit period shows an ISO date which is fine. But the calendar selection dates can't be configured to either ISO or USA formats. See below:

@Dave Clark Thank you for the supporting reply.
Per the above reply from Susanne Götz from over a year ago, looks like the Tempo Team is right on it.
Looks like the software release for the years 2032-2034 might see this fixed.

The topic is USA format.
If you can't stay on topic, then don't rattle off useless information that does not pertain.

Is anyone getting weird dates on email notifications from Jira? Is there a fix for this in Settings? Not that the 101st day of April isn't a terror to think about already...

Exactly! Just trying to get the dates to cross correctly. They show up fine in the program, but the emails seem borked. Lol.

Hi @K Ericsson ,
I can confirm that the My Work Calendar view is not respecting the settings in JIRA look and feel.
I have forwarded this to the development team for maintenance.

Thank you, Susanne. I hope that this will be fixed very soon. We have been mentioning this for about two years now, and have had two upgrades. Yet, the same problem persists.
The support web site shows a screen print where the date is displayed properly, so not sure why something that WAS working no longer is.
Here is the screen print from the support web site, showing the proper display of dates:
