Some Custom fields are not showing in any dropdown menus of dashboard gadgets

after changing in text searcher i am still not able to getting the custom fields in dropdown menus of dashboards whereas dashboard have to support these custom fields.

Firstly, May I ask what type of custom field are we speaking of? Is it coming from an add-on?
Secondly, from what to what option did you change the searcher?

Not all fields are supported by Jira Dashboards. For example some JSM custom fields cannot be used in dashboards and there are some add-on custom fields too that don’t work with dashboards.

Understanding the type of field and what’s changed will be a great help in ascertaining if it’s supported
