Some Jira users have lost access to a project. Added them, but they still don't have access.

Some users are getting the following message: "It seems that your administrator has marked your account [accountname@mail] as inactive. Please contact him to resolve this issue.

They have disappeared from the list of users, I've added them manually as adminstrators. Another collaborator received an e-mail asking him to validate their entry into the project.
and even after this person has validated, they still don't have access.

Any idea to resolve it ?

Hi @Seydou Camara ,

 

Welcome to Atlassian community!

Cause :- 

  • As per the issue you getting this is related to user still inactive mode. Inactive user will not get acces to project and not even count in the licesne part So after added in the project, he/she will not able to access.

Solution :-

  • Active the user from user management.
  • Please follow the below steps to active the user But you need org admin access to active the user.
  • cog icon >> user management >> search the user name >> from right side click on the restore access.

Hi @Seydou Camara ,

Did you check the admin.atlassian.com users tab? Perhaps one of the site admins or Org Admins disabled these users?
