Some of my tickets get carried from one sprint to another even when I do not add them to the sprint?

We have multiple team working on a single workflow. So I have the development team which had a board set with first half of the status of the workflow and then the testing team which picks up these same tickets to verify the developed code. For Eg. a developer call his implementation done when he moves a ticket to state called "Ready for test" and these tickets get moved to a testing team board where their board "To Do" column is mapped to a state after the "Ready for test" state in the work flow. So the tickets that have been picked up by the SIV team keep transitioning to the next sprint when the development team moves to the next sprint. They are not visible on either of the boards and are hidden(not because I have set any filter or so)

@Rashmi Ashok, It sounds like the development sprint thinks the tickets are still open.  Is the Ready for Test status mapped to the right most column of the dev board?

Yes it is mapped to the right most column and rest of the statuses are un-mapped that follow after the "Ready to Test" status.
