Hello Community,
I've a strange problem. I've updated JIRA from 7.13.0 to 8.9.1 and now I've the problem that some administration sites are empty and not useable.
I cleared the cache and restarted the server. I also tried to disable webSudo temporarily, but with no effects..
I use Azure Proxy as a reverse proxy for the jira instance with Azure SSO. But I can login directly, without using SAML, so this shouldn't be the problem. All diagnostic checks are successful. Before the update anything worked fine, so I think it shouldn't be a problem of the proxy.
Any ideas where to start to look for the error?
Bellow are the screenshots with the empty sites.
Thank you in advance,
cheers Kev Kev
Hello Kev, I am not sure what could be the issue here, but did you try to run Jira in Safe Mode and see it does the trick. If yes, the the next step would be to enable each plugin manually until you find the plugin that's causing this issue.
Thank you for the hint. I didn't know about the safe mode.
This helped me to find the plugin which is causing the issue.
The problem appears, when the Microsoft Azure Active Directory single sign-on for JIRA Plugin is activated.
I use the JIRA Software Version 8.9.1, with the Plugin Version 1.0.9.
So I think I could not expect any support here, because there is a note on there doc pages, with the information of supported JIRA versions from 6.4 to 8.8.0.
Under plugins it shows that everything is fine and all modules are activated, but it just doesn't work.
I will deactivate the plugin now and wait for a new release.
Thank you for your help!
