Hello, I'm fairly new to Jira and I'm learning as I go. How do I sort the columns in my board by due date?
Hi, @Christine Vogel
You can change the sorting of the cards in your Jira boards by modifying its filter query. It can be changed by clicking the three dots button at the top-right corner of the board and then Configure Board. There is a section listing the filter query, and you can edit the section indicating ORDER BY.

You can set your query to order by date, summary, rank, etc.
Thank you for your help! I can't see the Configure Board option. I am an admin our our account, if there a way for me to change my view?
When I click the 3 dots I see the following:
Set as default
Move tab left
Move tab right
Thank you in advance!!

Great answer @Camilo Galleguillos
@Christine Vogel It sounds like you do not have the proper access to edit this Board.
I have a great article that covers more on how to configure a Board within a Company Managed Project which I highly recommend.
Below, I've taken a snippet from this article covering the requirements to edit a Board:
To configure the board and any of its settings, you must be either:
a project administrator for the location of the board
a board administrator for the board itself
