Hello all,
I use business project in a company managed project.
I would like to sort my issues by due date. At this moment if i create a new issue, i set due date, the issue will atomatically appear at the buttom of the board.
What i need, for ex. if i have 3 issues:
issue1: due date - 10.11.2021
issue2: due date - 15.11.2021
issue3: due date - 08.11.2021
I need that they appear in that order on the board (from up to down): issue3, issue1, issue2.
Could help me somebody ? :)
thank you,
Boards are usually ordered by rank, so that you can rank them.
(Note this doesn't apply to team-managed or business boards)
You can order by due date, by going into the board configuration and changing the main board filter to use the due date as the order instead of rank.
Be aware that if you do this, it disables the ability to rank issues in the backlog and on the board, because you can only rank a list if it is sorted by rank.
Hello, thanks for your response. I don't use backlog, i have only TO DO - In progress - DONE, sot it is not a problem to disable the ability. The problem is that i can't or i don't find where should i change the configuration for the board. It is possible that i use a board, a project that does not allow to change ?

For ex. i try this solution: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/configure-a-company-managed-board/, but i don't have the 3 ( ... ).

Either you are not a board administrator, or you are using a team-managed project or business project.

So what type of board do I need to use to have this date feature?
